The student who has mastered French as well as English truly has a key to communicating with the world.Teacher Introduction:Nathan Risley is a certified French and German teacher in both Washington State and Ohio. He has a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Ohio (major in French with a minor in German), a master’s degree in secondary education from Xavier University in Ohio and has also studied at the Université de Caen in France and at the Universität Trier in Germany. He has 19 years’ experience teaching French and German in the United States, and 3 years’ experience teaching ELL at 金苹果双语学校 in Shanghai.Course Summary: To begin a journey towards the total mastery of a language, building strong oral and written foundations is essential. In this course, students will establish skills in grammar and practice pronunciation through conversational exercises. In addition, cultural elements from various French-speaking countries will be studied, because knowing culture is an important element of understanding the spirit of the language.
